'the merry wives of windsor’

venue

Markeaton Park & The Minack Theatre

Dates

21st-23rd July & 13th-20th August 2022

Director

Tim Heywood

Our Merry Wives were patiently waiting for two years to get onto the stage! This play was originally cast in 2019 for performances in 2020, but unfortunately Covid-19 got in the way.

By the time 2022 came around, the entire cast and crew was raring to go. The colourful and talented cast took to the stage donned in beautiful costumes designed and made by the Director Tim Heywood, and got to frolic around town of Windsor in a set made by XYZ and XYZ.

We started the run with three nights in Derby’s Markeaton Park Craft Village in July, then took the show down to Cornwall in August to do seven shows across five days in the iconic Minack Theatre.

See what reviewer Jenni Balow had to say about it her review on the Minack website.
